Respawn Entertainment has made it clear from the very first moment that the universe of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be bigger and bigger than the first Jedi: Fallen Order released in 2019.
The American studio talked about this part, noting that the time required to finish the game is much longer than what happened with the first part. When asked in an interview about how long Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be. Design director Jeff Magers said that the game is much larger and more intense than Fallen Order.
Considering the Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order universe… it used to take a while Nearly 20 hours to finish the main story, Star Wars: Survivor looks set to take even longer to fully wrap up when it launches later this month.
The game will provide significant improvements over the previous part in all respects, with the addition of improvements to Force powers in general. These improvements will be more advanced on PS5 than on other devices, as the game takes advantage of the sensory characteristics and haptic feedback of the DualSense wireless controller to give you that feeling of being in the game.
In an interview covered on PlayStation Blog Director Stig Asmussen said that the developers have been working hard on supporting the distinctive DualSense features. With these features, players can feel the impact of Force powers that will make them more immersed in the game world. Obviously, the director and the developers had a lot of fun with these properties.
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on April 28th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. In addition to the DualSense features, the game also has faster loading times thanks to the SSD inside current generation hardware. Asmussen also confirmed that the game’s exclusivity for the current generation allowed for much larger maps with more detail than the previous generation could not accommodate in any way.
