Jacob’s abilities in Redfall
- his first strength: It commands the raven to fly forward and locate enemies.
- His second strength: Called the Cloak, with it he can activate Jacob’s stolen Bellwether Cloak to hide from enemies.
- his ultimate ability: is a Heartstopper, which he uses to summon a ghost gun. In it, you will use the scope to pin on enemies, and then shoot to cause massive damage.
It should be noted that although Jacob does not have a clear movement ability like Lily’s Lift. However, the Cloak ability gives Jacob extra speed when moving, and of course, the freedom to move around enemies.
Arkane Studio shared some background with us about the character. Jacob Boyer grew up in a poverty-stricken coal-mining community, moved from foster home to foster home, and learned early on to stay hidden to avoid getting hurt.
When a military recruit comes to his high school, Jacob is enlisted from the moment he can fight. After infantry tours in Afghanistan, he is accepted into a covert Special Forces unit where he performs a series of reconnaissance and combat missions.
