With the help of my friend Brian Gardner, today we made our first website design change in nearly a decade, and given the tremendous development of the internet and technology over the past 10 years, you’ll wonder how we didn’t update our website design earlier.
This means that we did not do what we advise people to do, but fortunately, we realized our mistake in the end.
To my surprise, I received an email from one of our clients just as we were launching the new design this morning. He wrote, “Just wanted to send a quick thank you because today marks one year since I started eating healthy and exercising regularly, which is, you know, something I’ve shied away from for years.” At this time last year, I weighed 150 kg, and when I saw my weight on the scale in the doctor’s office, I realized that it was time for a change, after the very necessary advice that I received from you, and after a year full of willpower, and despite not using diet pills or stomach bands Or something, I went back to the doctor’s office for my annual check-up, and my doctor said the positive lifestyle changes I’d made had increased my life expectancy by about 10 years when my daughter took my hand and said she longed to spend those years by my side.”
What a wonderful reminder of the need for change!
You may feel intimidated by change, as I did when redesigning my site, and it may not be easy, but we all have to challenge our comfort and move our lives forward.
The truth is that life and happiness require risk. If you do not feel some fear from time to time, then you are not living your life right, and you do not worry about mistakes and failures. You have to worry about the life you are not living and the opportunities you are missing out on; Because you try to stay comfortable and avoid trying, be one of the people who try and fail and make mistakes. But they fix it and get stronger day by day. This is what I wish for you and myself. It is time for all of us to accept change and move forward in our lives. Here are 7 good reasons to confirm this:
1. Whether you accept it or not, everything changes.
If nothing changes in life, the sun will not rise tomorrow. Most of us feel comfortable in our present lives even though the whole universe is constantly changing around us, and accepting that is essential to our happiness and success.
Only when we change will we evolve and see a world that we never knew existed around us. Do not forget, no matter how good or bad the current circumstances are now, they will change. It is the only constant thing. So accept change, and realize that it’s happening for a reason. It won’t be easy or obvious at first, but in the end, it will be worth it.
2. Life is long ahead of you:
It’s never too late to live a life that makes you proud, and if you didn’t learn anything else from this article, just learn that we only live one life and we can make it great, and today is the day, don’t say you’re too old; What a great tragedy it is to be stuck in a frivolous life, it is never too late or too early to reach your fullest potential.
There is no perfect time, you can start and stop whenever you want, you can change or stay the same, and you can invest the day or waste it; It is up to you; So make the most of it, do the things that shock you and feel the feelings you have never felt before, spend time with people who help you grow and live a life you are proud of; If you are not proud of your life yet, dare to change everything.
3. You cannot improve if you refuse to change.
If you find that your life is not progressing, perhaps it is time to simplify things. Sometimes you have to give up some things to evolve. You cannot discover new oceans if you do not forget the familiar shore. So be brave, stick to your values, follow your instincts, and remember that adventure is never a waste of time; Even if one of them fails, learn lessons from it for the next adventure.
4. The past will never change.
You can spend hours, days, weeks, months, or even years analyzing past situations, trying to explain things, and thinking about what happened or should have happened, or you can move on and look to the future.
5. There is no point in clinging to the past.
Your past has given you the strength and wisdom you have today. so be blessed with it and do not let it haunt you forever, because bringing back painful memories over and over again is very harmful to you; Because negative thoughts make your life negative. To reconcile with yourself and your past. When you reconcile your thinking, you will regain your happiness. So stop focusing on old problems and things you don’t want in your future, the more you think about them, the more you fill your daily life with worries and become your enemy.
6. It’s time to move on.
You may blame everyone, feel sorry for yourself, and wonder why such bad things happen to you; But you are the only common factor in these scenarios, and you are lucky. Because it means that you alone can change things, or change the way you think about them, and accepting change gives a person great strength and freedom, as it is a necessity for personal growth and development.
7. Life is full of opportunities.
No one lives a life free of challenges and problems, and without losing someone he loves, something he needs, or something he thinks was destined for him. But it is these challenges that make us stronger and ultimately push us towards future opportunities. Take advantage of these opportunities, enter into new relationships and new situations, venture into the unknown, be ready to learn and face challenges, be ready to live new experiences, or meet people who may change your life forever.
